There's been a few good albums this year, but only a few (immediately) come to my mind.

DJ JS-1 - It Is What It Isn't

Havoc - 13 Reloaded

Termanology - Shut Up and Rap

Joell Ortiz - House Slippers

PRhyme - PRhyme

Diamond D - The Diam Piece

Madlib & Freddie Gibbs - Pinata

peace.

Ok, Ok, I might not be able to get better than those.....

I kinda liked the new mobb deep joint better than the havoc solo record. I liked what I heard off of killer mike and El-p's record too, but I haven't really sat with it yet. The new ghostface LP is wonderful.

Yes, the new GFK is dope. There was actually a ton of notable albums this year. I'm working on a 2014 recap atm, will post sometime this week/weekend.

Sad to say that the only joint I've copped off the list so far was Piñata which is very dope . But now I have a new list to keep an eye out for . I read a week ago that they are gonna drop another pressing of Diam Piece in mid January , so I gotta cop that !!!

Out of all the 2014 Hip Hop on wax I bought this year (which wasn't a lot embarassed) these are the only ones that stand out today...

Tree - Sunday School 2: When Church Lets Out LP (Daupe!) 2014

Doppelgangaz - Peace Kehd LP (Groggy Pack Entertainment) 2014

House Shoes and Street Corner Music Present Tuamie - The Gift Vol. 4 LP (Street Corner Music) 2014

Roc Marciano - The Pimpire Strikes Back LP (Fat Beats) 2014

^All these albums are worth multiple listening, and I'm surprised to say this, but I think that House Shoes / Tuamie collab joint stands out as the best. Rarely would I say that about a strictly instrumental Hip Hop album but that one is just insanely refreshing. It's the golden era style of beat making, simple and flawless.
