A few years back a local music fest had a contest for the best mixtape and I threw my hat in the ring. In the end, the winners were bullshit (they only posted pics of the winners, not track lists, so I'm sure they won solely based on their twee packaging) and although mine made it to the finalists table (it was easy to spot in the case I made from blue bandannas and embroidered with a dodgers style LA, so I mean come on, it could've won just based on style) I came out empty handed. I had the whole thing digitized, but for since reason only side 2 made it to SoundCloud. Check it out if you like and if there's interest I could dig around for side 1. I can't access the tracklist from my mobile, but you can see it if you're on a desktop, or just give it a listen and be surprised. Punk rock and Hip Hop are my first loves, so that's mainly what you'll find here. Enjoy!

I didn't love this to be honest. I felt like things were clashing too often throughout it. Almost like tracks being layered over top of each other had tempos out of sync. I don't know. Some solid parts too though. Really liked the Ghetto Story part
