^Man, what a mess, but that's a class act by Quik, and a great pic by the way. Good breakdown of the show, too bad you had to deal with the communication breakdown and the weather breakdown, hopefully yer wife has a short term memory about you needing your man time. I for one can appreciate you making the move, I would have done the same, solo or with my peeps, rain or shine, but a wife's forgiveness means the difference between you sleeping in the doghouse or sleeping in bed, so hopefully she's got a short term anger LOL.

Love that pic so much, that says a lot about Quik. Man I'd loved to have seen that.

YO Eye....put it this way, all that commuting paid it's dividends. wouldn't do a commute like that again...unless i had a beater/P.O.S. car that I wouldn't care about the wear and tear on.

good look's on the review of the show. I can feel you pain on the heads that was supposed to roll wiht you to the show and kept draggin you on about whether they were going or not. I've been down that alley few times with my Fam-lay and it's frustrating as hell. "Either you're in...or you ain't - what's the deal....?!?!".

@ the pic (of DJ Quik) - couldn't someone tell Ebony and Ivory to put a shirt on, at least?! they are looking very West Village-like....LOL

Follow up note re: Immortal Technique's involvement....at least he had the decency to offer up an apology by way of Twitter...not sure if Eye buy the shorted speaker story considering DJ Quik had no issues while he was on and the rain had been steady for quite sometime at that point but, hey...@ least he came out and took a look for himself, which we saw...so Eye guess he gets the benefit of the doubt.........

First and foremost I want to apologize to any of the fans & supporters from yesterday. I took as many photos & signed everything.
Right before MOP went on the heavy rain shorted out the speakers and amps and the stage myself them & Hitsquad were on was just shut down
I rally had two options just leave and go home, or I said I wanted to spit something for those that traveled to see me, so the only time
