Congratulations to our President Barack Obama on his 2012 victory.
God bless him and his family and give him the strength that he will need for the upcoming years.

So what happened?
What went down?,
How did we get to this point?
What do we need to do?
What can we expect over the next few years?
Can anybody explain this stuff, so a regularly scheduled brother or sister
can understand this flow without having to have a degree in political science?

Yes I can...Allow me to free your mind, because you know what will follow....

First off, during Bush we dug ourselves a hole. With no plan to get out in case we got stuck down there.

1.We took the reigns off of our banks and gave them carte blanche to give out loans to people who didn't have the
dollars to qualify in hopes of a quick flip. They got paid early in the game and didn't care when these people would default on their loans.Setting the chain in motion for the foreclosure crisis.Which in end helped in crippling the banks
when they no longer was getting regular payments from the real estate industry.

2.The wars, your take on 9/11 is your own personal deal.I was living in MD at the time and had to watch on tv
my fellow New Yorkers burning and jumping to their deaths.
I was born in Brooklyn and raised in The Bronx.
There are no words that can express how I felt about that whole situation.
The process of looking for WMD's and OBL cost our young children 1,000s of lives.10s of thousands of civilians that may or may not have been down...and of course ten's of trillions of dollars.Of which we didn't have and eventually had to borrow from China to continue the flow.Oil,money and war has been around since ancient times ain't nothing new bout' this.

3.When the cats were away...the mice will play. They (Bankers and Investment houses)
str8 up took the money and ran with it.They were de-regulated and never re-invested the money that the Republicans
gave them in congress from the Bush tax code. The way (trickle-down) is SUPPOSED to work is,I free up some cash from the 1 %'s to re-invest by giving the favorable tax rates. They inturn send some of that money to the banks,so they can allow small business owners to get loans to help run and create new businesses, which then of course creates jobs with the expansion of need. They never got it because the big wigs decided to use the money for themselves
as we used to say in Hip Hop ...gettin' large!

These three things was the major dynamic in the almost financial ruin of this country sending us to the brink of depression. The outgoing prez's time was up.New Jack idealist coming in with a little Washington experience
but steeped in the street game in Chi-town so you wasn't going to pull the wool over his eyes.He inherits a big hole
and a small shovel and by the way somebody drove away the sand.

The Stimulus.
700 billion dollars was given to the banks and their co-horts, with the trade stipulation that some of the fat cats would have to resign and the feddy gov would appoint watch dogs to see that this money gets infused back to where it was supposed to go all along.Hmmm..Bernacke realized after looking at the books that the problem was bigger than they thought. At the same time, our biggest businesses (The Auto Industry) was doing the same type of s**t and they was about out the door themselves which would of bankrupted the entire rust belt states due to the loss of millions of jobs.
Without these jobs retail businesses and leisure businesses would suffers tremendously. As GSH said "We was about to lose Detroit".

Obama's dilemna...The American people were feeling the brunt, they wanted no part of giving nobody and extra dime after what had happened. The Prez looked at the bigger picture,he knew he had to bailout the Auto industry to avoid
an entire economic collapse. He borrowed more dollars on the strength of our then triple A credit rating(which we would lose)and bailed them out.Saving the day and millions of jobs. The republican stance was to let them fail in the hopes that the smaller dealerships would eventually pick up their slack, thus far..capitalism.
Obama did not have the luxury of time.It wasn't numbers to him.It was people.

The deal...As you remember Hillary Clinton won all of the major states and took about half the democratic vote
in the democratic primaries.Obama could not have won without her support and a energized democratic base all in
it together. The house was divided.Something had to tie them together.Hillary's camp needed a tradeoff if you wanted her and her peoples inclusion into the game of winning the big house. What did Hillary champion during her time in office in NY...Universal Healthcare.Which in it's infancy failed in congress.
You already figured it out folks......Obamacare.
Now you stirred up the Southern constituency and you painted the Dems as the givers away of our money
to the lazy people that did not want to go and make it themselves like we had.You know the underline theme, I don't have to get into that.

Now the other shoe dropped...

The financial whiz kids f****d up the numbers crunch and realized that the banks would need a second stimulus.
This one to the tune of 800 Billion.Banking fail alert...The Prez elected to give it to them, henceforth saving the U.S.
banking system. The trade-off..American people hurting and outraged, not undrstanding the big picture because alot of them was in the street with the foreclosures and the high unemployment.
So in 2010,they voted out the Democratic house...
shifting the reigns from Pelosi to Boehner and therefore setting the stage for the TEA PARTY with the new
Republican agenda.

A funny thing happened on the way to sanity....The above mentioned fixes takes time my people, because the numbers have to crunch and the bad apples have to be weeded out.that was why we had a SLOW but steady recovery. The biggest boost...The end of the war in Iraq.Ending a major source of your future money woes in which you would see dividends from in the future. As things slowly started getting better with the economy...

But hold up...Tea Party gains steam and puts the cuffs on the let's make a deal Republican moderates.
Stalling congress out...freezing up bills that would have ordinarily passed during Clinton.Slowing the recovery up more.

Time is almost up,2012 is coming...The Tea Party and the Republicans get in gear to oust the incumbant on the strength of a slow economy. But to win you need a messenger. The Republicans throw down in 20 debates.
In the process scareing just about every one running.Perry,Santorum,Bachman,Geinrich too far to the right...Huntsman,too moderate.Public caught the vapors on just how extreme these cats were. The players then found out you needed dollars to stay afloat so they start dropping out.RNC can't sell the message, but Tea Party refuses inclusion. They realize they needed a middle road money man that looks the part.Who would be driven by the Tea party once he got in...but first you have to sell him to America. You guessed it......Mitt Romney.

Romney was known as a moderate as the Govenor of Mass and had once laid down the tracks for the ideology of what would become the so called Obamacare. So he had some hurdles.Well,It turns out that this cat was super rich.
Had some bad business baggage (Bain Capital) and made gaffe after gaffe to show he wasn't ready for prime time.
He wasn't holding up the flag as steadily as they thought, so the Tea Party forced the hand of the RNC to get them somebody with more energy and a more conservative record......enter Paul Ryan.

You know all about the three debates and what happened during that time, so there is no need to get into that.

So how did they lose?
Demographics,my peoples.....Demographics.
The Republican party had the dollars, had the slow economy message, had the players...
but they underestimated the demographics.
While they was in their country clubs....they did not bother to open the door and look at the color of America.
It had changed.It got more brown......Black, Latino,Asian,Indian.
It got more tolerant...college educated people, gays and lesbians.
It got more defiant..woman of all races.

When the republicans blocked any type of comprehensive immigration reform, they essentially
alienated 70% of the Latino constituency.Do the math.

The republicans painted a picture of non inclusion.
Anti woman's rights.Big money players from the himalayas that did not feel our pain.
So the majority of America went with the man they they best thought understood their plight and was level headed
enough to deal with the day on stay on of the presidency....and chose Obama despite of the slow growing economy
the unemployment and the kids still in Afghanistan.

The Mandate and the future....
Mitch O'Connell, big man from Kentucky in the senate said NO mandate, but we will meet you half way.
Boehner, speaker of the house who lost a few seats but still has control was more willing to work together to get
the bills passed to keep us moving but still wants some of the stuff Romney had in his agenda....
Dems won the Senate and grabbed a few extra seats which equals more power. They also gained some seats in the house...which also equals more power. The Prez grabbed 303 Electoral votes, and could have over 330 once Florida gets up off their asses.Which means ........more power which equals ACTUAL mandate...but could essentially become GRIDLOCK with the numbers the Republicans still have in the house.

The Answer.....
Remember Tim Hardaway of The Miami Heat?
He used to say....See the three, Be the three.
President Barack Obama has a second term.
All the anxieties and willingness to make everyone happy has to dissapate.
He's seasoned and now primed to be large and in charge.
he even has backing from his constituency in the world community,
winning praise from almost every country on earth, including Russia and China as he is deemed
the better of the two to work with in our global economic and geo political atmosphere.
Now has come the time to use it....
he put his presidency on the line to make unfavorable choices that he knew would work in time.
the slow economy will become a flowing economy from the measures he took that I above mentioned.

The Bush tax cuts END January 1st....
What does that mean? That means that the rich biotches will experience the highest tax hike against people
making over a million dollars a year in American history to help pay for the programs that Obama champions.
Also the defense budget will face the largest cuts that it has had in 40 years...to help pay for the building back of the
house of cards that THEY blew down in the first place.See the tie in???
Obama has the support, the numbers, and now the time....Four more years.
He don't have to come to them....THEY have to come to him and do like Monte Hall and let's make a deal.
In return, Obama will....altering the tax code and compremising what he could for the good of the country
making good on his promise of bi-partisanship.What will he get in return???
The comprehensive immigration reform....in which the repubs will have to pick up his tab, to pay for the Latinos
of whose 70% got him over the top in the swing states.

And in the end.....
The Afghanistan war will officially end in 2014.
And where will that excess money go to?................

The economy.

President Obama leaves us with a surplus in 2016, reminiscent of Clinton in 2000.
And were back to square one again.
History repeats itself.

In the meantime, in between time remember this name....

Govenor Martin O'Malley.

You will tell your children that you heard about him from your boy Beatmaster at the periodic.
when he is being sworn in as the 45th President of the U.S.

Don't look now....but you are officially,Down by law

Goodnight and have a pleasant tomorrow.
