I think the Hip Hop dance was definitely an integral part of the Old School movement, I think it fell out of popularity by the early golden age years, with a few annoying exceptions that came later.

Does it belong on the table? Maybe. We should start a vote. My only "against adding it" thought is that other genres like early rock and R&B also had signature named dances, stuff that my mom did back in HIgh School like the hand jive, the twist, and a million other names I can't think of so it's not distinctly a Hip Hop phenom. Still, this is a democratic thing, if you want to nominate it you could start a vote thread in the PTOHHE sub forum. Personally, I thought Skits was more Hip Hop specific and still is prevalent on Hip Hop albums today, that vote is still open too, yall should vote on both of these nominations and all nominations to the table.

...seriously though, I might have to vote for Hip-Hop dance being on there.

Of course, in terms of in the world of hip-hop, b-boy'ing started it all (which, we already have defintied on our table of elements.....although it spawned off into things like, The Wop, The Mudfoot, The Running Man, The James (Brown), The Flava Flav, The Superman (that Ho), The Bussa Bus, The Pee Wee Herman, The Pacman, The Cabbage Patch, Crip Walkin'/C-walk, Krumpin', The Steve Martin, The Humpty Hump, The Dougie, The Harlem Shake, The Stanky Leg, Air Force One....the list goes on....
