right im not sure where everyone is from on here but thought good way of gettin to know is
for everyone to name an artist from their city/town that they really rate and like

probably be more interesting if its an artist that hasnt completely blown up yet ,so they have a fan base and are doin shit
but maybe arn't overly known outside your area

this could be a producer/dj or mc or
a band or whatever

im gonna think of some from my neck of the woods-Edinburgh,Scotland

cmon people get promoting your talent

Great idea Capitol1212.

I'm in a hole, culturally speaking I usually have to travel to the Twin Cities to see any decent shows. But there are some pockets of good music around here, decent blues acts like Howard Guitar Luedtke and Blue Max. One great musician from my town already well established is Bon Iver. http://www.boniver.org/

There ain't jack for Hip Hop here though, again I gotta travel to Madison or Minneapolis to see any decent underground.
