Okay , so I get the Stand Your Ground Laws , but still don't understand how they apply here . If he's innocent , that's just like saying that Trayvon Martin is guilty ... Of What ??? Walking down the street ? Carrying candy in public ?? Wearing a hoodie ??? Feeling like he should protect himself when a stranger follows him for no reason ???? I pray ( and I'm not religious ) that the NAACP can get the Civil Rights charges to stick . Although it's ridiculous that it would have to come to that , it's worked in the past to get others (a little bit of ) justice . R.I.P. to Trayvon and best wishes to his family..

It was undeniable racial profiling that Zimmerman did. He fucked with an innocent kid and shot him and got away with it.
If I wanted to kill my daughter (like Casey Anthony did) or shoot a kid for looking at me funny I'd be just fine if I moved to Florida, the land of royally fucked up justice systems.

I can't believe those jurors voted innocent. Was the defense that good or was the state prosecutor that bad?

yeah - such a tragic ruling by the jury...it definitely shows the double-standard (and flawed) judicial system that we have here in the US (as well as the racial bias that still plagues said system)....

Hearing some of that testimony, GZ was such a wannabe cop too, what a genuine little tool that guy is. Good luck trying to have a normal life after this trial, he'll be ostracized every time he walks down the street. A little street justice is going to catch up with him at some point, not condoning it, just sayin.
