Watched the new Hobbit last night on a date with the old lady.



All I can say is wow, fucking cool effects. The story on this was even better than the first one which in hindsight seems boring in comparison. Bilbo kicks way more ass than Frodo ever did. Jackson did a fantastic job mirroring the main points of the book and frankly I was blown away. It ends like the Empire Strikes Back with the WTF moment but it definitely leaves you wanting more.

Big recommendation from me is Prisoners with Hugh Jackman/Jake Gillenhall, Gritty. heart-wrenching film. Out on Redbox now.

U-Kid...I redboxed it. It's sooo bad.

I thought Spring Breakers was terrible . I have been a Harmony Korine fan since KIDS , but I couldn't hang with SB . I actually hung out with Harmony a few times at a coffe shop here in Nashville called Cafe Cocoa . He's a pretty cool dude , but that movie sucks . I wanted to reach into the screen and punch James Franco for wasting my redbox money ...
