We've been going through a John Carpenter phase here at home - Assault On Precinct 13, Prince Of Darkness, They Live... I've seen them all many times before but the missus hasn't, and she's enjoying them immesnely (apart from Prince Of Darkness, which she said was the scariest film she'd ever seen).

I just watched the dumbest movie Steven Speilburg ever made 1942. What an overstuffed over budgeted corny movie. Belushi's worst acting, bad plot. Don't waste your time on this.

yeah - i remember actually seeing it in the movies, when it came out back in the day...was a stoopid movie then....





Just copped this on DVD. was one of my favorite shows back in the day. I forgot how funky the music was (playing in the background of each show, throughout the show). Would love to get my hands on a soundtrack (to the show)....if there was ever one released.

My son and I just got back from the Avengers in 3D.



Besides a lil 3D motion sickness I'm gonna have to double thumbs this one.

Best 2 super heros in this were Iron Man and the Hulk. Great movie! Best super hero movie I have seen since Iron Man 1, actually, it's probably the best super hero movie ever in my book. Watching this in 2D might be better for the charactor building parts but 3D is awesome for all the action scenes. Watching from the point of the view of Hawkeye's arrows in 3D is fantastic. I don't understand the Black Widow's powers, does she have any? She's hot and tough and knows how to interrogate, but is that it?

I'll be honest this is my first 3D movie I have ever seen, it takes a little getting used to but I can see how it can be really cool in the right places.

My wife and I saw this this weekend...

Prometheus



After downing a half bottle of wine at dinner my wife fell asleep during it. I kept prodding her awake, it was REALLY great but she's not a sci-fi buff so she wasn't feeling it.

I thought it was KICK ASS. Seriously, my favorite of the Alien movies besides Alien and Aliens, plot was great, the suspense was crazy. Not scary, just high suspense and action after the usual long character building.
