Little story since we are on the subject... Jack Dangers and his "band" Meat Beat Manifesto is one of my all time favorite musicians. I've got everything (almost) he dropped on both CD and vinyl format, and since I'm such a big fan I figured I'd make a strictly Jack Danger's production mixtape. This was way back in 2006, or maybe it was 2005.

It's a continuous mix, it took me a year to make the thing and I passed around copies of the CD-R to friends and family. I don't know how, but one of my long time friends got a copy of the mix to Jack Dangers and he really liked it. So one day at work I got an email from Jack Dangers and I about had a heart attack in my office. He invited me a 3 friends to his show at the Crowbar in Chicago. It was such an honor because he was\is one of my biggest heroes.

Anyway, I totally agree on this...

After the show he came out and met me, shook my hand, signed an autograph and we chatted for a few minutes. Looking back, I think that was one of the coolest days of my life. Ahhh, the memories.

Now that's just fucking awesome. All of it. I can't think of a better/cooler way to get at one of your fav people. I will totally check out that download. I saw him in 2008. Him and a drummer. I'm a drummer. The whole thing blew my mind. Great night. Not as great as yours though. smiling smiley
