Do people still listen to this crap in 2012?

I thought that shit died out with the rave over 10 years ago.

I hope it's almost dead . There was a time ( around 98 or so ) when I got into some drum n bass and breaks , but it was so hard to get out and hear , because Nashville was so saturated with house and trance. We did have 2 spots here that played a lot of dnb and breaks though. Don't get me wrong , I did enjoy some house music ( not much) , but I couldnt and still can't get with trance.

I'll admit about 10 years ago I liked some of it, but since then it's turned into a cliche of predictable builds and warm happy synths. I have all kinds of good Global Underground mixes from 10 years or so ago, I think they are still dropping trance mixes too, but other then that I figured it was dying or almost dead. You pretty much have to be on ecstasy to even listen to it. (Insert rave smiley here)

Can't go all the way to the point of Trance,
but have been known to dig some DEEP HOUSE

Peace.
