Crazy story - of Mexican geology...in America - but only broke bad in South Africa...

Okay - just watched the movie.....VERY compelling...In fact, I think it won an Academy award last night.

It's a shame that, that snake Clarence Avant (head of Sussex Records) took all that money, in royalties, off of South African sales, and didn't give a dime to Rodriguez. But who knows....like ATCQ said, industry 4080.. - record contracts (especially back then...and now (if you ain't careful and either read it thoroughly or have a good lawyer to decipher) - will treat u like you're in the TV show, 'OZ'....

I keeps it plain...keeps it simple - good documentary.


My best to Rodriguez and his family. What he needs to do..is come out with some new ish and have a (new musical) resurrection and give those Afrikkanners some new material...although their apartheid experience is over, but still....

As humble and down to earth he is...at least it'll provide for his grandchildren and further his legacy (in that region).
