Me and the wife went out to an auction a little over a week ago . My wife and her mother have an antique booth in a local antique store , so I went out to help them cop some merchandise for the booth . We were walking around looking at the goods before bidding started , that's when we saw it ......

Although we had never seen one like this before , we knew what it was from across the room and behind some other furniture . So we walked over and both started pulling handles . After opening every compartment , we decided it would be ours . After a few hours , it was up for bids . My wife started the bid , and stayed on top of it until bidding had ended ( because she is awesome ) . We are now the proud owners of this awesome GE console stereo .

She managed to score this for $105.00 !! Such a great buy . Everything ( turntable , tuner , and speakers ) functions perfectly !! There is also a light that comes on when the turntable flips down , that is still functioning . It sounds great . I made quick video of it on my phone , that Rchecka edited and threw on YouTube .. good lookin homie . It will give you a better look at what's going on with it . My dogs tried to bomb the video grinning smiley

( sorry about the skinny video .. I still haven't mastered the camera on my phone )
We looked around for one like it to get some info , and just about all we could find out so far is that this model had the big cabinet in the bottom to fit a few different model tvs from that era . Gonna have to look a little further . Definitely my favorite buy in a long time . double thumbs up

Absolutely awesome find! double thumbs up Such a cool deal, I gotta move this to the Non Hip Hop area so everyone can appreciate it.

You picked the perfect record to play in that video by the way. Best post ever by JB!
