We need new banners...
That's 10 of them all
sized at 700x182. I made those a long long time ago and I am so sick of seeing them rotate thru. Who can create some of these for the site? You'll get credit for the image, you can tag it in the lower right corner as long as it is subtle. Clearly we don't want it to be about your name, moreso about an image that represents the best records in that genre.
It doesn't even have to be these 10 genres. Hip Hop has to be there and so do the obvious ones like rock, jazz blues, and so on, but there can be many more.
I can do a few or all of them,
but why should I do it this is a Co-op? Who can represent the entire genre of rock and roll with a photo or altered photo to fit the limitations of 700x182? Who can use the right font, the right records with the right imagery to represent Hip Hop? We can vote on finalists. But I'm guessing there are guys and ladies reading this right now who can do this and proudly represent their graphic design career, or an art career, or a photography job...
...whatever it is you can do way better than what's there right now.
The rules:
- original work allowed art or photographs
- any copyright, TMs, or protected by law images are forbidden
- it has to represent an entire genre, so imagry needs to be broad enough and yet obvious enough.
- Any image from cratedigging.co is allowed. As always all original photos here are open season unless otherwise already copyright protected.
The reward:
Recognition and a nod of praise. You get your moniker on it. But like all images shared here it's open season on the one you provide. If that's your specialty and you want to share that skill this is your thing. Keep in mind, if you
Google "crate digging" you'll see our forum right there, so that's a lot of potential exposure with your name on it and that might make a few hours getting it done right worth your time.
