Nice list so far homie !! I have a few names on paper , but haven't had a chance to really sit down with it . I agree with you on that Goodie Mob joint . Very deep album , but it does require a concentrated listening session , or you will miss it . Sesame Street is one of the illest tracks on that album .. There are a some albums on your list that I haven't heard at all , so I may have just found some new stuff that needs to make their way into my collection .

Alright, we're down to the top 3!

# 3 Public Enemy - It takes a nation of millions to hold us back (1988)

I don't need to tell anyone on here why this is agreat album, but the reason it's on my list is that it's basically the album that has been with me the longest. It was one of the first rap records I ever bought and I can honestly say I've been listening to it actively on a regular to semiregular basis ever since I was a kid. When I was 12 my uncle predicted that I wouldn't listen to it by 18. When I was 18 he said it would be over by 23, when I wwas 23 he switched it up to 27, when I was 27 he finally gave up.

# 2 Pidzama Porno - Futurista (1990)

Yeah I know, another polish one...This might not be an album that is perticularly special in its genre. It some really good emo-punk rock or whatever you wanna call it. The reason why it's on the list and this high is that it was an album I listened to a lot around the time I met my wife. It brings with it all types of nostalgia, early relationship drama, the feeling of being in love. It all bubbles right back up whenever I put it on. So since this is a personal list, it doesn't get much more personal than this.

# 1 Ini Kamoze - Ini Kamoze (1984)

If someone asked me "What is music?", this album would be the answer. The power and beauty of this recording is remarkable. Even my 65-year-old uncle who hasn't listened to anything new since about 1973 fuond this album astonishing and demanded I rip him a copy on cd. My aunt, who's even older and my mom also love this. When I gave this top 20 challenge to a friend of mine who has a similar taste in music, the only record our lists had in common was this one, and we both had it at #1. I'm not sure I can describe it any better with words, so here's the whole thing:

So that's it, now it's your turn! I'm calling out rchecka & jaybrown in perticular since you both already seem to have accepted the challenge.
