My ritual is much simpler than you guys . For 12s , I save the instrental for last especially if it's unfamiliar . A lot of the times , that's the saving grace if the vocals are wack. Not unlike Rchecka it's new stuff first and 12s before Lps . Also not unlike Rchecka , I too have a mancave . BUT , like GMM , I do a lot of my listening in the living room ( no beanbag action ).I have a great sounding stereo in there ,also , my wife likes to hear my new records. She has no problem cutting off the TV and vibing out on a new record . If I feel like locking myself in a room and doing my own thing , she doesn't mind either . Sometimes records play all night ... Luckily for me , when you are upstairs ( or vice versa ) , you can't hear the music if you are downstairs ( or vice versa ), so I can rock out with no headphones even if the wife is sleeping . I guess that's it . Short sweet and probably kinda boring compared to the rest of you guys ....
