Hahaha, you went IN on him! I'm glad I don't have cable anymore! I forgot about Jared, looks like this little guy is even worse. As someone who loves sandwiches, I really despise Subway (and I've got one in five minutes walking distance).by vamosarapiar - General Discussion
I've gotta get back up on words with friends, i fell off. I'm gonna hit you up on there rchecka, be prepared....to win by large margins.by vamosarapiar - General Discussion

Another vote for Tapatalk, I know its not always easy to implement features like that but I'd be on it all the time.by vamosarapiar - General Discussion
Thanks for the tip, definitely a good look for someone that wants to start DJ'ing but I'm looking higher end (will probably drop a little more than that on a single table) and am not necessarily looking for DJ functionality (leaning towards the Technics since its an all around work-horse)....at this point I don't have the cash, space or motivation to get two tables but its somethinby vamosarapiar - General Discussion
Thanks for the advice, I'm definitely gonna do some research on that model now. Sounds like a lot of functionality for DJ-use I wouldn't use but ultimately a reliable work-house is what I'm after.by vamosarapiar - General Discussion
Highly Rated Game Of Thrones Breaking Bad The Wire (hands down the best thing ever out IMO) Treme (more David Simon greatness IMO, also, the music in this show is a character in its own right...WATCH it!) Generation Kill (more David Simon...) Mad Men (great) The Newsroom (just started, I'm enjoying it) West Wing (going back and watching these over for the first time) Louie (dark cby vamosarapiar - General Discussion
I need some input on a new turntable. I was borrowing a Numark for a while but a friend took it back about a month and half ago...in the mean time I desperately needed something so I grabbed a cheap (cheap) Sony from a friend for the short-term and should be ready for a purchase by the end of the summer. I'm looking at some of the entry-level models like Rega P1 and Pro-ject Debut III. Thby vamosarapiar - General Discussion
Jaybrown that looks like a nice set of pick ups. I slept on that recent Blueprint album. I actually ran into Slug of Atmosphere in a local convenience shop (about .5 miles from my spot) completely randomly, really nice down to earth dude.by vamosarapiar - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Nice picks. This came in the mail from Redef yesterday (or was here when I got home from a week of work away at least):by vamosarapiar - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Thanks again for this. I've got tabs open with Kept Records and G.E.D. Soul Records now. That Brownout track is killer so both those 7's will be no-brainers. On the G.E.D. tip it looks like I'll grab a couple of the Derobert slices.by vamosarapiar - Member Submissions
rchecka, I can't speak much on Ornette Coleman at all as this is the first of his I got. It's a definitely a nice album and the gatefold package is great. Will have to do some research and look out for the essentials. The albums on the left there are a couple favorites from a recent dig. A local store was moving and all music was 50%.by vamosarapiar - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
I'm just starting to work towards a Blaxploitation soundtrack collection and this one is a no-brainer to begin. This has been getting steady burn for a couple days as well:by vamosarapiar - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop

Hello folks, glad to be here. Found my way from DWG (thanks rchecka) and looks like this is a dope spot. Anyways, look forward to more here and what's up from Philly!by vamosarapiar - General Discussion
