@jaybrown - Sup fam...Eye can't claim cradle status as Eye came up in Queens and didn't hit my teens til the late 70's, so Eye wasn't old enough to be clubbin' in the BX or the $$$Makin when the umbilical was being cut and they was baggin' the placenta. But that said, Eye definitely knew Hip Hop when it was crawling around outside the crib in a soggy diaper, trying to stand up and walk!

Yo EyeGetzRaw, that is still extermely impressive to me considering that I didn't really find hip hop until about '86 when I copped a bootleg Beastie Boys cassette from the flea market. I mean , I had heard hip hop , but it really didn't speak to me until I got that cassette home and zoned out with my headphones. But anyway man, if you have any good stories to tell , I love to hear that kinda shit.

Jaybrown yes I was there when the art form began. I used to be an MC in my neighborhood also. I've been so many places and have so many stories. What would you like to know. We can talk harlem world, randy's place, the taping of wild style the movie, and so much more. I didn't have to go to the bronx because the bronx came to us. I'm from the Lower East Side. during that time period it was known as Alphabet City. So I've seen them all at one time or another. Some I liked others I didn't and some were over rated.
