@ Beatlover, that's too bad. Wasted talent I guess, if that really is the case. I'll probably hold off until some reviews come in and I have some time to check out some of it. I rarely pre-order stuff anyway.

^I've known (well, online "known") beatlover for many many years, old geezerand the one thing I've learned about him is his name can be deceiving. He only loves beats, in my estimates, about 5.5% of the time. That's one of the things I like about that guy, actually, he's WAY pickier than everyone. Like if he even kinda likes it, it must be the dopest shit ever. So take that disclaimer with a grain of salt. ((giggle))

^While #1 is a certified Hip Hop\Jazz fusion groundbreaking classic this one gets my sleeper choice award for this Friday night. So many great tunes on this from sides A thru D.

I'm answering both your last posts in one post.

Yes, I am pretty hard to please it has been said. There is rarely an inbetween for me. I either like it or I don't.

But, I endorse that Jazzmatazz LP as the best of the series. I played the hell out of Nobody Knows..Some good stuff on there.

Smoothe Da Hustler - Once Upon a Time In America LP (Profile) 1996



^Later period Profile album The 12" singles for this LP are good but this album with it's "real" themed skits and plenty of good B sides makes this 2LP worth seeking.
