Thanks man, I appreciate that. The truth is I really like doing DIY\carpentry stuff, I just don't like doing way more than what I planned on doing when I started and adding 2 months to a job just by simply unpeeling the layers. I'd rather do the fun "finishing" projects not the "Oh shit look at this cluster fuck" projects. Like I said, I'm not gonna get any money back for those saftey improvements whereas with actual visual improvements my hard work and money will come back to me. I talked to JB about this last night and he said "at least you are making your house safe for your family." I guess I can't argue with that.
