I was in a bad mood yesterday because of an influx of yearly website bills hit me all at once. Then I looked at our visitor attendance stats for the month and it was down 30 percent while 2 months prior it was up 50 percent. While my point remains the same about this place I gotta just bite my tongue on days like yesterday and stay off the "vent here" thread.

I hear ya,RC..There is nothin' wrong with a little ventin every now and then.I get down on a little of that in my post also.With most of everyone here,I had a bunch of stuff going on during the holidays and now I'm trying to plan a trip to go see my wife's family again,but this time of year is pricey because it is summertime down there now and Carnival is coming soon so airfares got jacked starting the first of the year.I've been dropping in though to see what's happening,I just have not had time to put thought to pen.Will be contributing soon enough,you know me RC.Peace to ya.

ugggh...A new season of "Girls" starring Lena Dunham and her odd pointy shaped boobs...I guess she answers the "race question" with the addition of Donald Glover to the cast, and oh get this he's supposedly a Republican,get it? A black republican...uh I would've respected her hustle if she just told the critics to suck it....and kept her racially homogenous cast.instead of giving the bullshit reason of "not knowing how to write for Black People"..I know plenty of people in NY who do not have this "rainbow coalition of friends" I enjoy the show ad they could've kept it that way and while she was at it she could've told one of her "co-writers"(forgot her name) to STFU and keep her latent racist remarks to herself .

Ok,HipHopChiq this seems interesting, but those who are unfamiliar with the show can you give us a
little read on what the show is and what is going on leading you to vent about this Lena,person.
Did She do something racially insensitive?, or did they put a token brother on the show?
I'd like to know what happened.
