That's sad news . That dude had a hand in so many great recordings . He did make it to 91 , so he atleast lived a full life . RIP ...

He had one of the hardest jobs in Jazz. It takes a special kind of ear, a shit ton of experience and education and a willingness to do a unheralded thankless job. He was a legend at that.
