I've been on a grunge binge lately...

Yall know what I'm talking about, Nirvana was the reluctant poster child of the term until it became a cliche. That was right about the same time that 'alternative' took over; an even looser label.

Mention some timeless grunge albums in your collection.

I still got tons of old CDs in my collection that fall into that era, but hardly any records. worried

I wasn't into grunge at the time (striclty hip-hiop), but circled back 20 years later and have slightly explored it (as I have been with other genres)....mostly on the top-tier bands/artists. Dont really have much of a "collection" - mostly "greatest hits" CD's...a greatest hits of Nirvana...a couple of Smashing Pumpkins albums..Alice in Chains greatest hits...Pearl Jam greatest hits. haven't really explored Sonic Youth's joints, but hear they are pretty good.

i couldn't even name any of the underground grunge bands.....
