The fourth album from Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings presented as a box set of funky 45s with 10 exclusive bonus tracks – solidifying what we learned pretty early on from the indomitable soul spirit that is Sharon and her impeccable combo the Dap-Kings – it's that this is not some retro soul revival novelty act, what they are is the greatest active embodiment of a true soul sound that will never go away! We've always loved that Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings recognize the studio and the stage as different worlds. On stage, Sharon is the possibly the most energetic, charismatic presence you'll ever see and the band brings heft and heat. In the studio, they stretch out and diversify wonderfully, bringing both raw, unpolished funky soul realness to some more stripped down numbers and a full on Stax or Hi level heaviness to the bigger ones. The songs are better and more memorable than ever on this record – presented here as a beautiful, limited edtion box set of 11 funky 45s – with the complete album tracks plus 8 exclusive instrumental versions, plus the previously unreleased vocal counterpart to "The Reason" ("Give Me A Reason") and another bonus track : "When I Come Home". Includes 45s with "The Game Gets Old" plus instrumental, "I Learned The Hard Way" plus instrumental, "Better Things" plus instrumental,, "Give It Back" plus instrumental, "Money" plus instrumental, "Give Me A Reason" plus "The Reason (Extended)", "Window Shopping" plus instrumental, "She Ain't A Child" plus "If You Call", "I'll Still Be True" plus instrumental, "Without A Heart" plus instrumental, and "Mama Don't Like My Man" plus "When I Come Home". Plus a 28 page, full color 7X7 booklet with never before seen live and behind the scenes photos. (Please note that there is a small scratch on the front cover. Limited edition!)

Man, you keep saying that.
You should just bite the bullet and get a pair of decks.
Or at least one nice digital deck for your computer and soundsystem.

You can get a decent USB portable turntable for under a 100 bucks nowadays.
