Last RSD I ordered finally landed yest...

Various - From The Vaults Of Ric & Ron Records - Rare & Unreleased Recordings 1958 to 1962 (10 x 7" set) (2012 Record Store Day release)

^Fantastic down to earth southern soul. They didn't skimp on a damn thing. The demos and rehearsals on this are so out of sight!

Late addition to my RSD 2012 collection...

The Upsetters - Blackboard Jungle Dub 10" Box Set (Clocktower Records) 2012 RSD Black Vinyl Release

^I saw that DGA reupped this so I jumped on it, and I'm glad I did. I actually have this album on 2LP and I always hated the tracks they chose to put on it. Not to mention the lack of sound quality on the 2LP repress, so I was antsy to get this 3X10" box. I could care less that it's not numbered or the colored vinyl version because without a doubt it is the DOPEST dub album I have ever heard. They chose the PROPER versions. The sound quality on 180 gram is refreshing as hell. Pressed up loud, and bass heavy. Dub heads should not sleep on this.
