I had forgotten to mention his passing to my father who is a HUGE jazz enthusiast...when I told him he literally cursed out loud....and started playing his music..RIP Mr. Byrd

^Yer Dad knows wassup, Don Byrd has been dropping countless jewels on so many staple jazz lables. Columbia, Blue Note, Prestige, Verve, Brunswick just to name a few. Not to mention he's got countless HH sample credits too.

I was at a record store yesterday and they are sold out on the man, the famous when you are dead phenom is in full effect right now.
