Here are my RSD pick-ups (minus one other non-RSD release).

The Roots was what I was really after and was happy to get the Rough Guides To... as well. Like most of those comps, some of the songs are skippers but definitely glad I grabbed both (a couple of bangers on each).

That Hutson record speaks for itself, that was on the wall at my record store and I said "how much?" and "I'll take it." As I was leaving one of the owners was looking at what I got and he said "man I knew you would be the one to walk out with that."

Not a huge dig but glad I grabbed what I did.

The other pick-up was a Latin Jazz album by Gato Barbierri that I'm enjoying as well.

Shuggie Otis - Introducing lp

The Uncluded - Delicate Cycle / Earthquake 7" . I really like this one, although I don't think it's a match for many people here .



Kimya Dawson's style reminds me of something that would be on Sesame Street .

The Beat Junkies - Picture Disc Collection . DOPE !!

The Roots - Thing Fall Apart 2lp . I'm happy I finally got this one on vinyl !! I've heard a lot of people over the years say that The Roots lost it on this one , or switched their sound/style , but I think that from their beginning they were always changing and I have always seemed to appreciate it . Still a great album.

Winston Edwards - Natty Locks Dub lp . I am not very well versed in dub , but this record is pretty dope . I think you would like this Rchecka ...
And a non RSD release

Charles Bradley - Victim Of Love lp. Only got to give this one a quick listen , so I won't say anything about it ,besides so far so good , until I can get a good listen .

I had to get that Roots myself as well.
I finally listened to the entire Shuggie Otis last night. MAN, what a nice sounding pressing. Never heard some of those hits sound so nice. It was great to hear some of his more bluesy non-hits as well. That's a great collection of Shuggie, very practical.
