Upon further inspection I cannot verify these are actually real leather record jackets. Most of them are 60+ years old and it may be faux leather. It looks like leather and feels like very thin leather but it could be red vinyl wrapped around a cardboard sleeve. Whatever it is it is shrinking and hardening making it difficult to get these records out of the sleeves. I ordered a bunch of plain white jackets and 150 anti-static audiophile sleeves and I am going to transfer all the records from the leather jackets to the safer plain old white jackets for prosperity.

But yeah, I still want to know how to stop the George Costanza in the pool shrinkage.
