Copped these today ..

Joe Baatan - Chick -a- Boom / Cycles Of You 45 . Although this is a more recent release from Joe Bataan , it is every bit as soulful and funky as his earlier releases . Actually Chick-a-Boom is super funky and Cycles Of You could fall in line with any soul song from the 70s but both have a nice Latin feel .

Also copped this ..

Goat - It's Time For Fun / Relax 45 . So this is a band I've slept on until the last week or so . I went out looking for their first album World Music , but ended up leaving with this 45 ( I couldn't find any lps) . If you're not familiar with this band , they are a Swedish Afro funk / metal / psychedelic / unexplainable band . Very different , but they've sparked my interest ..

Went on a 45 kick last night ..

Ralph Sharon & Friend - 2:38 a.m. ep . Took a chance on this one and scored . Mostly laid back slinky jazz . The only downside is a scratch on the b-side that pops pretty loud for a minute. But since it's been floating around since the late 50s I'd say it's in fairly good shape .

^^ this is the full album . My copy has Friends Blues / Ol' Man River / Linguini Lovers Lullabye / Touch Me Tonight

Arthur Verocai - Sylvia / Na Boca Do Sol 45 . These two track are from what is possibly my favorite Brazilian album ever . Could be because I'm very slightly versed in Brazilian music or could just be that it's super dope !! Mr Bongo recently released this 45 so I had to snatch it up .

Pierre Vassiliu - Ils... Soundtrack 45 . 3 track extra dope French soundtrack . There is a lot of funk in this little record . The bass is great too !! This one is good enough that I almost wanted to keep it to myself grinning smiley

And now for the soul section ..

Little Ann / The Turn Arounds - Deep Shadows / Stay Away 45 . I have to admit that I only copped this for the Little Ann track since I keep missing the reissue of the Deep Shadows lp , so I copped this reissue 45 . BUT !! , the Turn Arounds track is great too ...

The Soft Tones - I'm Gonna Prove It / Guns 45 . I'm gonna prove it is my kind of lovers soul !! I wish I could find a video for guns as it is still completely relevant to all the gun violence that's going on these days ...

Sorry so many videos , but I think if you listen to them , it will be clear why I felt it nessecary to post that many .

I love to find good metal and noise 7 inches. Here are a few I've been listening to lately

PanzerBastard - Motörheathen

"Dedicated to our lord and saviour Lemmy Kilmister"
That about sums up what's going on here. This is a four track EP of down and dirty metal.

Stubb - Under A Spell

Stoner rock from the UK. I dig that dirty guitar sound mixed with the rolling organ. I hear they put on a pretty raging live show, but haven't had the chance to check them out yet.

Noisewerrrrk - Bless The Children

I can't find a video or streamable source for anything on this three track EP, but it's harsh electro-noise from Germany.
Side Two is a single track called "Home?" that is almost hypnotic.
