I was just curious if anybody else ever listens to am radio stations ? I'm not a big radio guy ( unless I'm in my work van since it's my only option in there ) . But , for the past few years I try to tune into am 1470 on Saturdays when I'm in the car . All day on Saturday , and later in the day on Sunday , they play an amazing soul /r&b and blues show .. Does anybody else out there catch any good stuff on the am stations ???

I turned on this station this morning, and they were playing what has to be the best blues radio show I've ever heard. It made it really hard to get out of the van and come into work.

No.....I haven't checked an AM station since like 1979 or so. It's pretty much all Satellite Radio, when I am actually listening to the radio in the car.

I had a feeling I might be the only one , but I had to ask . I can't believe I missed that station for so long ...

@ JB, I'm sure AM radio is better in Nashville than it is around me. Apparently you can get long distance AM radio waves but I've never tuned into anything other than country, religious, and sports the last time I checked. Don't even get me started about how bad FM radio is in my neck of the woods.

When I'm in the ride it's usually random CDs or the news on NPR.
