I just bought some JOINTS!

LP $15.19 Ini Kamoze - Ini Kamoze (Taxi)
LP $21.39 Rico Rodriguez - Wareika Dub (180 Gram Vinyl) (Island)
LP $6.99 Michigan & Smiley - Downpression (Greensleeves)
LP $7.99 Jackie Mittoo, Cedric Brooks, Ernie Rangin, Sound Dimension, Etc. - Freedom Sounds (Studio One)
LP $17.19 Devo - Mabuhay Gardens San Francisco, California August 3rd, 1977 (COLORED VINYL) (East/West China)

All of those prices are easilly the cheapest online, and that Ini Kamoze is HTF! DJ

I love that Ini Kamoze album. Let me know how the pressing quality is on that one. My copy is a paid FLAC download. Wanted to listen to it in my car and didn't want to take a chance on the LP before knowing what was up with it. I hope it's not a boot or whatever. With a lot of JA music, sometimes it's hard to know.

If you've not heard "Statement" by Kamoze, it's pretty good and well worth grabbing, though not up to the level of the self-titled. I found it in a used bin not too long ago.

EB usually has the best prices on Greensleeves stuff and they've repressed/reissued a bunch of albums on wax that were previously hard to find. Before my break from buying stuff (on hiatus right now) I got a bunch of Greensleeves reissues from EB and a local shop.

Will do. That album (in general) must be really good, GMM put it at his number one spot on this thread.

I'm pumped I found all those records man, and I haven't even had time to check the CD blowout yet. I feel like a sucker for not knowing about this place I would have bookmarked it long ago.

A number of the CDs I bought on sale are OOP titles from Blood and Fire. Apparently EB has been clearing these out for a few years since Blood and Fire went out of business, but they won't be around forever, and at least at this point, they are unlikely to be reissued.

^IMO, that's a good biproduct of the "vinyl boom" CDs prices seem to be dropping despite scarcity. CD sales really dwindled in the mp3 boom and I think they are still very low.
