Yeah, CD sales have really taken a hit. The funny thing is, some indie labels and majors are still doing new CD releases because they know their niche target audience wants them. They do seem to press them in smaller quantities though, and once a desirable titles goes OOP, prices are still apt to shoot up. I have noticed that some dealers of OOP CDs are more likely to take a reasonable offer and lower the price compared to say, 10-15 years ago, but some will not budge no matter what. They would rather just hold out for however long until someone bites.
