Delroy Wilson - True Believer in Love LP (Micron Music Limited)

^Another record landed worth taking the plastic off my decks for. This isn't as good as the Best of (above), it appears to be a later period release, but MAN does this dude know how to croon. This LP just shows that he's a lovers rock essential. This stuff is so real and so laid back and positive. Recommended listening.

^So many good vocals and versions on this. Great comp for roots fans.

Lee Perry - Meets the Dragon LP (Justice League) 1995

^Sweet later period Lee Perry dubs on this. Not his best dub album, but loaded with his signature echo chamber. Nice OG pressing to add to my LSP collection.

Johnny Clarke - 20 Massive Hits LP (Clocktower) 1970's

^With the exception of reggae records I tend to avoid these kind of "Greatest" type compilations. In a lot of cases they are the only place you'll find these chunes on wax. This one I could have done without, I needed a lot of those tunes but the pressing (as you can see) is not really up to par. Some of these reggae records are like this for some reason, they look older then they are, faded, too many tracks crammed on to each side so therefore there is no bass response, and the labels look like they were adhered by hand by a third grader. Still, it's nice to hear one of my favorite crooners any time, so it was still a good buy for me at 8 bones.
