Last night...

The Lions - This Generation 7" Box (Stones Throw) 2013



^Stones Throw made a wise move picking up these guys, I got their first amazing album on Ubiquity, their 7"s on Lions Bread Records, and now this box on Stones Throw, and with each successive release they step up their sound even more. What's great about this box is a lot of the sevens have the dub version on the flip like real reggae records mon! The same nice quality packaging that was done to the Donuts box was applied here. Some great reggae covers of classics rock chunes including Van Halen's - Jamie's Crying. Stones Throw has been unpredictable the last few years in terms of quality music they have been putting out, this one is unquestionably top notch reggae. Highly recommended.
