This thread may not get much love , but lately I have been reminde of a lot of 90s r&b ( mostly mainstream ) that still makes my head nod when I hear it . These are mostly tracks here and there , more than albums as I really never copped any r&b joints back then , but I would like to show them some love .
How about Blackstreet - No Diggity
And call me crazy , but I always thought Toni Braxton - You're Making Me High was a dope track...
Not to mention a whole slew of dope Lauryn Hill tracks
And Erykah Badu killed it in the late 90s
Well , there's a start . I'm curious to see if anybody adds on to this ..
Not really my area of expertise, but there was some decent R&B in the 90s. You had the neo-soul type stuff and things like that. That Blackstreet song was a huge hit. I always wondered what happened to that group, and whether the whole album from that single was any good. I'm not sure I ever heard it.
