Your wife is one cool wife man. Thanks for posting this! I love Numero records so much, I wish I got that gift. I'm interested in quite a few of those, they are for sale outside this club service right?by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop

QuotejaybrownI feel like if I put my free hand on the base of the tonarm when using the brush , it acts as a ground ^It could in a way, your tone arm is grounded via ground wire. But no exaggeration man, those dust brushes don't work as good as Gruv Glide. That solution and those black pads with their tiny little fabric fingers get into the grooves deep. So it's Wintertime in the US right now, all the air is dry and everything is charged. You, your clothes, and yes, especially in the Winter your records are full of static. MUST KILL STATIC! Why though? Because it makes your records get all Rice Crispies like, snap crackle and pop. Plus it makes every piece of air floofies land on it and stick like a magnet so then your needlby rchecka - Turntable Help and Technical Questions
QuoteLionsMouth ^Just saw that last week. I don't consider myself a huge Star Wars nut, but I liked the film. I might have to re-watch it after re-watching some of the old movies. It's cool to watch the original Star Wars right after watching this because it starts exactly where Rouge One left off. It's uncanny how good of a job they did blending the stories together this many yby rchecka - General Discussion
^Interesting stuff, I was rooting for the grey goose to fly and it never happened. There's something very ambienty about that downtempo, it's still downtempo but repetitive and subtle, I like it.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
^It almost sounds like that song was made for country the way he did that. It get's filled with horns and non country touches towards the end, a real stunner IMO.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
RN Sturgill Simpson - In Bloom ^Incredible outsider country version of Nirvana's "In Bloom". Wow.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Some of Psychic TV's stuff has spiraled up in price, they have become fairly hard to find over the past few years.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
^Thanks man. Those I bought from all over the world after most of them were out of print using now dead websites like gemm.com and CDNow.com. I also have the first 28 Global Underground mixes and a bunch of other series too. Like many of my completionisms I took it way too far LOL.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Over the years I managed to fulfill one of my DJ mix CD completionisms... United DJs of America DJ Mixes 1-23 CDs (DMC America) 1994-2003 ^(Click for big pic) Mixer magazine along with DMC collaborated on this DJ mix series way back in the day. Before I got deep into buying and mixing my own records I figured studying the masters was the best way to learn. This is one of my early CDby rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop

Last night... Can - Live At The Koln Sporthalle, 3 February 1972 Cassette (Unofficial) 2016 ^This reared up in early October of 2016 from the unknown bootlegger people and I thank them. All I can say about a 50 minute live show like this is wow, what a clusterfuck of niceness. I wish I could have see them play that show live. Even though this is a bootleg, the live show audio is profeby rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop

Recently... Ethiopians - Slave Call LP (Rohit Records) 1988 ^Very stripped down roots reggae. Heavy drums, vocal harmonies, despite the name and cover this is loaded with feel good freedom songs. The Blues Busters – Phillip & Lloyd LP (Scepter Records) 1975 ^I put this one in my top 20 albums of all time. QuoteGordon Rekcikssa Ape Machine - Live At Freak Valley These guys pump out chugging, 70s style songs like there's no tomorrow. This LP comes in a nice gatefold with a bonus DVD of the entire performance. Good stuff if you're looking for heavy rock'n'roll that worships at the Church of Sabbath. ^My kind of metal for sure. Just Saw Star Wars Rogue One with the family moments ago... I think it is the best Star Wars I've seen since Return of the Jedi. Easily the best prequel IMHO. 10x better than the shite Lucas dropped in 1-3. Must see for Star Wars fans. The story is there, the action is there, it's all there, and it's the first star wars that feels dark and feels like a "war&qby rchecka - General Discussion

^I saw George Winston play live once and it was a very cool small venue concert. It was a formal affair, everyone was dressed in suit and ties and he came out in a pair of knee cut jeans and a flannel and wooed the audience without batting an eye.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
QuoteGordon Rekcikssa ^Snakefinger made some truly far out records. Phil Lithman was one of those avant garde geniuses that was way ahead of his time. What else can you recommend from him? I'm interested in checking out other albums.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
