Dropping a little love for a product I found that solves a problem I had and I'm sure many of you crate diggers also have. Deluxe Oversized Ultimate Outer 5.0 (50 Pack) I have so many oversized gatefolds, some of which clearly cannot fit in a standard outer plastic protector, and some like Pantera’s – Far Beyond Driven (Reissue) were not only wide but once you open them they are too riby rchecka - Turntable Help and Technical Questions

QuoteGordon Rekcikssa Bathtub Shitter - Lifetime Shitlist Shit Jam Records, 2003 Japanese grindcore with hilariously mangled English for lyrics. The song below is titled "Fuck Hip Raper". I think they intended it to be about hip-hop, not rape, but I can't be sure.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Very cool @ Crustified Dibbs, I have a 12" and nothing else!by rchecka - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
^Yes, please do. Great thread! I just recently got the Kenwood 1050CT and I love the hell out of it. This is a huge upgrade from the old Sony dual deck I had, sound quality is so much better. This has a lot of features that were born in the CD to mixtape age like auto bias and CCRS which somehow reads the overall peak level of a CD during recording. Anyways, got it used and Iby rchecka - General Discussion

QuoteLionsMouth He probably spent hours staring at grooves while he was listening to records. He's a savant. Probably took him about 3 seconds a record to connect the dots. @ death hop he was also on the 80s show That's Incredible" I remember that for some reason. I also remember the water skiing squirrel from that show.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop

QuoteLionsMouth Did you ever do a mix dedicated to the label? As a matter of fact years ago I did start a Ninja Tune mix but like way too many projects I got side tracked and put it on the back burner. I need to revisit that idea as I have over 100 Ninja Tune records in my collection and I think it would be a really cool concept.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop

^I follow Greenway Records on Instagram and always been impressed or at least curious about the various visually interesting records they drop, but I never recognize any of their band's they press up so I've never bought anything. Besides colored vinyl, what's their specialty? Any good?by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
I'll start off with some Ninja Tune joints... Last night... Mr Scruff - Honeydew 12" (Ninja Tune) 1999 ^Arguably one of Mr Scruff's all time best tracks he produced with a vocalist. The entire album this is from is incredible (Keep it Unreal) but I had to have the 12" as well for the remixes and bonus tracks. I can't believe we didn't already have a downtempo electronic music thread. For the purposes of this thread... Downtempo: Anything that's clearly electronic based music that is way too slow to dance to and is dedicated to basically just chilling out. Don't forget, like all genre specific threads, this will be linked to in the genre lasso topic for easy finding laterby rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop

^That is a killer cure comp! I had that on tape and CD but never on vinyl, very jealous of that! If you have that and Standing on a Beach the Singles collection, you have a huge chunk of the Cure's best stuff.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop

I'm happy to cross this one off my list thanks to the RSD gods... Porno For Pyros – Good God's Urge LP ^For once they read my mind and decided to reissue something I actually wanted. As with most of their pressings I have zero issues with this nicely repressed version. IMHO, this is Perry Farrell’s (of Jane’s Addiction) masterpiece. It’s mellow, eclectic, highly palatable eby rchecka - PIFs Trades Wantlists and Sales
Terrible news! Man, what a loss. She was the queen of modern soul and funk in my book. Her voice had an edge to it that could not be touched. Very sad right now, I thought she was getting better.by rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Mofi really is the best of the best. I also like their little hinge thingy that lifts and releases the CD as the jewel case is opened. I don't know if this is true or just rumor, but apparently if you scratch one of these gold discs you can send it to MOFI and they will "sand off" the top layer to reveal a fresh intact under layer which plays just as good. Various - Dark Highway Soundtrack 2LP (Music On Vinyl) 2016 RE of 1996 OG ^Finally I got one of my “must have on vinyl” soundtracks last night. The Dark Highway Soundtrack produced by Trent Reznor. I vaguely remember the David Lynch movie, I know I’ve seen it at least once, but I vividly remember the soundtrack as I’ve enjoyed playing the CD for years. ^Nice high gloss movie stillsby rchecka - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
