Man I slept on that album, artwork is dope too! Al the Chemist is one of the more prolific beat-makers around.

Re: Finesse Signature Sevens: Yes, not cheap lol but too dope to pass up for me. To be honest, I gotta hand it to SOS for offering cheaper alternatives to the full set, I think you can probably still cop those records individually from certain retailers. They had it set up that full set buyers got doubles (one copy of each installment, which includes two 7"s each, one in black and one in colors). To be honest, if I wanted to I could sell like ONE of those records that I have doubles of from the full set and recoup on the whole cost, if I'm tight for money I'll do that. Until then, I'm happily geeked out on this.

They've got a similar series coming up for K-Def and I'm all in once again. I've met Rich from SOS and he was a very down-to-earth and nice guy, some of these releases are about the collector nerdery but the first and foremost the music is not to be fucked with! I wish I could cop all of the SOS output but not quite, they've got some seriously nice stuff on the way for 2013 (and some for the last quarter of 2012 as well). New Finesse material? Yes please!

^I'm gonna have to try to cop them with my next big pay check before I'm SOL.

...personally...and you'd have to ask Alchemist himself...but I think the Curren$y/Alchemist - 'Covert Coup' project was the (unofficial) prequel..or better yet, inspiration to 'Russian Roulette' - IMO.....








I'm really curious to see how this Durang Dynasty/Alchemist collabo album is gonna turn out.....
