Been going through another batch of albums I haven't listened to in a long time.

First up Supreme Nyborn - Style

The album is ok, no classic but a good listen. Might play it more often in the future.

X-Clan - Mainstream Outlaws

The joint above is one in few really nice songs on this album. Their worst album by far if you ask me and it's a shame cause their comeback album "Return from mecca" is very good and solid album. Too bad they followed it up with this uneven effort.

Sir Mix-a-lot - Return of the bumpasaurus

Quite a few good joints on this one. Didn't expect too much but was pleasently surprised. I might even pick this one over Seminar, it's a close call although it's a bit too long for my taste.

Finally a very good album I had forgotten all about (don't ask me why): Smiff N Wessun - Tek & Steele: Reloaded

I feel you....after the 'Xodus album...:wasn't anything to follow up for like 10 years....but, still didn't (studio) come out with anything too exciting.

BUT.....

....Brother J did rock a solo/different group-effort (in '96) - Dark Sun Riders. It was/still is pretty official, to me....dope album. It really came out under the radar, at that time....no promotion at all, from what I remember (other than a (visual) Ad or two in The Source).

peace.
