I'm not feeling that D'Angelo album at all (musically and vocally)....sounds like he/they were rushing to put something out.

Big K.R.I.T. album starts out good, but kinda fades towards the end. maybe I need to re-listen to it again. I think the title track/song, 'Cadillactica' is probably the only gem on the album (big shout out to DJ Khalil on production on that track - still waiting on a new Self Scientific album)....and, the one with Raphael Wiggins a.k.a Raphael Saadiq is aiight.

What up hiphopchiq ?? Glad to see you're still doin it !! I gotta listen to that Premo and Royce joint !! I'm interested in hearing that D'angelo joint . As for that Big Krit , I agree with Uptown Kid . Strong start , but tapers off for sure . I was thinking maybe I was the only one that felt that way .

I still haven't listened to Krit...I had high hopes for Cadillactica, but I will get around to listening to it over the holiday...
Another one I forgot to mention was J Cole's Forest Hills Drive...I haven't heard enough of it to formulate an opinion yet but it's cool so far... I've been soooo bored with these artists this year.. I can't even lie..I hope we do a yearly roundup around here ...like the best of 2014 or something before the new year starts...
