As I said this is ever growing and I'll cross stuff off all the time, but I might as well break the ice and start one since it's been something I have been wanting to do for a while... (BTW - The rules are still in draft mode, hoping for a little more feedback before I break them up into individual rules for quick reference)

rchecka's wantlist: (Updated 7-05-2019) (the bolded ones I want the most)

BTW, if anyone can help me cross these off for a fair price I will be indebted to you and feel obligated to return the favor in some form or fashion.double thumbs up

Not sure if you are still looking for that Albert King LP, but it was reissued by Sundazed. If you are not dead set on an old pressing, Sundazed usually do a good job with their stuff.

Sundazed has sourced this edition directly from the original Stax analog masters to ensure that every lick, every line, every shout is captured. In addition to the album’s eleven original tracks, this Sundazed release adds two King rare mono single sides, “Funk-Shun” and “Overall Junction.” This “bad sign” ain’t nothin’ but good!

Make sure you sign up for their sale emails as well. A few years back I bought a bunch of CDs from them for something like $4 each. Lots of good stuff too.

I'd probably take this reissue of the King LP any day over a 70s pressing. My experience with 70s Stax vinyl has been pretty hit or miss. I think they were using a lot of recycled vinyl in those days. Plus, a nice condition (VG+ or better, conservatively graded) late 60s pressing is probably nearly twice as expensive as the Sundazed edition nowadays.

I'm happy to cross this one off my list thanks to the RSD gods...

Porno For Pyros ‎– Good God's Urge LP

^For once they read my mind and decided to reissue something I actually wanted. As with most of their pressings I have zero issues with this nicely repressed version. IMHO, this is Perry Farrell’s (of Jane’s Addiction) masterpiece. It’s mellow, eclectic, highly palatable even amongst non Jane’s Addiction fans, and almost like his own unique version of a stripped down Odelay. I’m not comparing it to Odelay in sound, but there’s production elements and styles that are very similar.

Only 12 left on my must have list above! thumbs up
