I was directed to this forum from the cratedigging.co instagram account. I've been a record collector since 2000, and have been fascinated with mixing and finding good grooves on wax. Fell in love with hip-hop at an early age, which was a gateway to all other kinds of music. Also, I'm a lover of a good scratch, and am not afraid to get fingerprints on records from time to time. My first exposure to cutting was on a Sir Mix-A-Lot single (no shame in this DJ's origin game) and at the age of 10 I knew I wanted to do what that DJ did. Enough about me, what about you?

Hi Seith,

Welcome. I guess a lot of us here are hibernating but we're still around. I'm not a DJ but I respect the art form. I got into records through hardcore and punk during the 90s but my tastes go well beyond that to a lot of different stuff, including hip hop. I stopped buying records for awhile at one point but got back into it a few years ago. As such I have a large collection of CDs also.

If you have any mixes you want to share, feel free to post them in the Member Submissions section.
