Various 7" Jazz EPs, Various Labels, Various Years...



^Clockwise... Gene Krupa - Gene Krupa Trio Collates 7" EP (autographed!), Lionel Hampton - C'Est Le Hamp 7" EP, Art Blakey - Hold On, I'm Coming 7" EP, Sidney Bechet - Sidney Bechet At Jazz Ltd 7" EP, Dave Brubeck - September Song/Sweet Georgia Brown/Spring Is Here/S Wonderful 7" EP.

Man, I love these so much. Especially when they have the Jukebox inserts, it really makes the package so much cooler to see those little cut out slips of paper that used to go in the jukeboxes of various bars, bowling alleys, etc. It's kind of surprising as to how much music can fit onto a 7" EP, all these equated to about an hour of good jazz music when I mixed em back to back. Really great vibes on these oldies.

The song from the album name Lifeline on that Roy Ayers album Vamo.
Is one of my all time favorite joints.For those who wish to know the legendary Running Away is on that album also.

I originally copped years ago for the track Tunji that was used in Mo' Better Blues if anyone remembers. Later the whole album has become a fave of mine. Only recently did I find out that the majestic opening track Out of this world is yet another popular pop/show tune a la My favorite things. Trane was def on some sht!
