...A. The first video is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It starts of bad and gets worse with every minute. She bought the cd's but the images are stuck in my head forever. B.Pay some attention to the background if you can...

A. You are the rightest you've ever been.

B. I take it you mean the preggo dressed up like a candy cane dancing in the background? It's really hard to pay attention to the background when the trainwreck is happening in the foreground. For example, that dude rocking the keytar does not belong in the band at all. He's not nearly excited enough and stylewise he's like the Marlboro man compared to everyone else.

I can't unwatch any of that but it was funny as hell. Now I will definitely share it with my wife. Frankly I'm a little scared to watch the second video. LOL

^^Exactly, all of that, plus the whole setting is a damn circus tent!

Alright enough of this...I gotta come back with something good after these.

@GMM haahhahaha That London Boys is the funniest video that I've seen this year.

Here is a Sohail Rana 45 called the Fore Thoughts. I used this on the Surf mix.

Here are some that I am planning on using in a new surf mix. Working on the track list now.

Swing West - Japan
Tsugaru shamisen style played on fuzz guitar. Really cool versions of traditional japanese songs.

Sorry no youtube videos.

Simtec Simmons
Really cool funky Surf with a 1960's Drum Machine on percussion. No drummer. I think the drum machine was a Gibson's Maestro Rhythm King.

Green Sound
Psychedelic Surf from Italy

More deep digging Kep !! Great stuff as usual .
I have some catching up to do ...
Me and Rchecka have an ongoing vinyl swap going , and he sent me a few records recently.

Brian Eno - Before And After Science lp. This was my first (that I'm aware of ) experience with Brian Eno . Although this album has many similarities to a ton of 80s albums that I never got into , there is something underneath that really caught my attention . I really enjoyed this album !!

Eno Moebius Roedelius - After The Heat lp .
My next experience with Eno . This was also very good !! Very laid back , ambient tracks . Very relaxing music .

Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation Of lp . I couldn't believe it when I saw this record in the bunch . I have been ( to this day ) steadily bumpin this album on cd and digital , since the first day it dropped . But somehow never had it on vinyl . It's an OG copy too !!!
Good lookin on the vinyl Rchecka .
Now for my recent picks..

Alicia keys - The Diary of 2lp promo . A pretty solid album in my opinion . I wasn't much of a fan of any of her other albums besides the unplugged joint . She was very on point on this album , and the production is great .

Sonny Shamrock - Black Woman lp . I thought this album was very interesting , but is definitely not a record for everybody . Very free form , even the vocals . Kinda in a Sun Ra vein , but on a whole other tip.

definitely interesting.....

Kelis - Food 2lp . I have never been much into Kelis' music , but I recently heard the single off this album and it really caught my attention .

It still has her tough/sassy girl sound , but on a whole different level . Not quit as pop sounding to me as her previous releases , more raw.I thought I would take a chance . Side A didn't grab me at first , but has grown on me . Sides B - D however just seem to get better as the records play on . I am very impressed with the direction she took on this . I was also impressed that this album was put out on Ninja Tune ... Never woulda expected that.

Freedom Power - Freedom Power lp .Such a great Album . A nice mix of jazz, funk , and psychedelic from the Italian sound libraries . Lots of twists and turns on this one . And it's full of sampleables and dope drums.

dope ,right ?

Creepshow soundtrack . It's all the music from Creepshow !!! I can't really comment on it now , because for some reason , I am having a hard time bringing myself to opening it . It does say 180g colored vinyl , so that's helping to sway me towards opening it . I will drop a few words on it if I get the nerve up to crack the shrinkwrap .
Sorry, you can't reply to this topic. It has been closed.
