^Thanks to Jay Brown for dropping this thread waking me up to this. This EP is fairly long playing considering it's a 7". It is SO nice, reminds me of Sharon Jones type soul, absolutely a stunner. Anyone who likes Dap Tones type stylings consider this one a must buy reasonably priced joint. Just get it and thank JB later for it.

Ahmad Jamal - Reevaluations: The Impulse Years 2LP (Impulse Jazz)



^I got in way too late for this guy. Shoulda been into him years ago, nowadays I'll cop anything with his name on it. This was a nice find, 6$ for a 2LP comp in fine condition. Dropped it on the platter last night and right off the bat I heard a Hip Hop sample that I know but I can't place. Hate it when that happens, now it'll bug me.
