^Good shit. The Hendrix family has been really busy reissueing Jimi's classic albums and unearthing unreleased recordings on heavy format vinyl for the past year. It's a good year to be a fan.

This 'kend...

Freddie Hubbard - Backlash (Atlantic)

^Some of Freddies best stuff IMO. Very funky at times, almost a return to form for him after a few crossover failure attempts.

Kevin Ayres, John Cale, Brian Eno, and Nico - June 1, 1974 (Island Records)

One of the Eno albums I never had, finally copped it and I am loving this. A progressive live set featuring fantastic covers of the Doors, brian eno and even Elvis Presley. Actually, the cover of Heartbreak Hotel is EASILY one of the dopest covers of that song I have ever heard. You can't imagine Nico of Velvet Underground fame doing an eerie cover of "the End" by the Doors. Neither could I, wow!
