You got me watching old videos of Sammy Davis Jr. now, man what a talent.

In my humble opinion,the late great Sammy Davis jr. was the greatest entertainer of all time,bar none.
Sorry MJ but Sam had more on the resume.
He could sing just as good as Dean and Frank,he could tap and dance as well as Astaire,He did impressions
just as good as Gorshen,played drums as well as Buddy Rich and could also ACT also!
That's like being the Willie Mays of entertainment.
Sadly, just like Nat Cole and many others we lost them too early to them damn
cigarettes that everyone thought was so cool back then.

^^ so true. It's interesting, watching these videos (watched a couple of him doing some impressions, his Nat King Cole is great!) there's also the distinct feeling that this is "showbiz" entertainment: he's really carrying a whole show as the lead entertainer...not something that happens much anymore.
