Globetrotters - The Globetrotters LP (Kirshner) 1970



^FONKY sheet. PURE funk fire. The Globetrotters theme is not the whistling one, so that threw me for a curve but surprisingly there is some timeless funky music on this. I wish the pop up cover wasn't damaged, but other then that, I got no complaints. This was worth seeking just to soup up my funk collection. Several songs on here are worthy enough for a Dumpster Funk sequel IMO.

^^ Damu illness, a little bit redundant in the collection as I don't need the instrumentals but shiiit, Damu is one of the dopest. I actually just listened to the Giant 45 record tonight as well.

^^ find of the year so far on that Bobby Hutcherson record for me.

Glad I copped this, what an ill record. I've been listening to some of these songs for awhile now and I'm happy to have this properly on wax.

^^ Bonus cut from the recent SOS K-Def 7" series, really well executed all the way down the line and this record is just so dope. Their recent picture discs have been really on point with the quality, usually don't buy much picture disc type stuff but I picked up nearly everything K-Def put out last year and this is some icing on the cake.

Yeah V, no doubt that is quality.
