Nice pick ups, there's a couple you've got pictured there that I've almost purchased: Country Funk and the Thom Janusz one in particular...sounds like that second one is worth grabbing? The Country Funk release was just kind of intriguing to me but I'm not one for country (or Southern Rock for that matter) so I'll end up skipping that. I still don't have the Quakers record either actually.

I don't know how this didn't post up, I must have hit "preview" instead of "post message."

Toro Y Moi - Anything In Return [2013] (pop/synth-disco? This just came out and while there are a couple of "whoa that's a way too formulaic pop construction or lyric" moments, I think its a solid effort throughout and he keeps it interesting.)

Bobby Hutcherson - Now!
Charles Earland - Black Talk!
Herbie Hancock - My Point Of View
Bob James - Three

Random thought: ^^^ three of those four jazz records above have Rudy Van Gelder attached somehow (recorded by or engineered by); its crazy how many of the great jazz records have him (and/or Creed Taylor for that matter) attached somewhere down the line. That "VAN GELDER" stamp on the runout is definitely all over my collection.

/\/\ nice score !! I highly recommend both the Country Funk and the Thom Janusz . I think that if you like funk and breaks , you will get past the fact that the tracks on Country Funk are either country or southern rock.

Appreciate the suggestions, I'll have to check out the snippets of the Country Funk record either way and the Janusz is a no brainer.

^^ one of the best Hip Hop records I've picked up in a while. The album is great, embarrassed I waited so long on finally grabbing the wax.
