Unless your the guy who just spent a grand on the original, then you'd probably be pissed if it was reissued on nice reissue for 20 bucks.

@Lionsmouth - There are better ways to get the music on that record. Wolf was a singles artist until the late 60's - the rockin' chair record's a compilation of Chess singles. I have the Chess Box on CD. It sounds great, has a great selection (it has everything from rockin' chair but "Little Baby" on it), and includes a very nice booklet. It's worth keeping an eye out for. My only complaint is that interviews are interspersed with the songs - I'd rather have them on a bonus disc or at the end of the last disc.

No question about it, my desire for that record is completely irrational.

@rchecka - Ha - in this case, I'd be surprised if a reissue would impact the value of the early pressings that much, but wtf do I know about it. I can't remember the last time I sold a record.

Not sure what this album sounds like, but always interested in Howlin' Wolf.

Been recently rotating this album..alomng with Muddy Waters - "Electric Mud' and 'After The Rain'
